GoJo is not one of these students.
Then again, she isn't one of the ones with no idea on life, either. Nah, she's the one who has all these crazy ideas and ambitions, and who will spend hours planning how each plan will work out, only to change her mind in a few months and plan on doing something else. Basically, she has no set plan; rather, she has a lot of plans that never quite come to fruition. Her subjects were picked back when she was into acting and music (trust me, she's given up on her acting career), so there's a lot of artsy stuff there that she's never going to use when she graduates. She has a plethora of knowledge on pointless topics that will never assist her, and seems to know very little practical knowledge. Oh, like cooking! Yeah, she seems to believe that, when she does move out, food will just appear on her plate for her. But that's okay. I'm sure she'll get by. She knows how she wants to live when she does grow up a little. She just doesn't know how to cook food for herself. Even so, she's very excited about moving out, and can't wait to truly start her life.
In the meantime, she spends her days living through Japanese media. Anime, manga, video games and a mix of JRock and JPop dominate her life. She's in love with the language, and currently is aspiring to be a Japanese -> English translator. Hopefully for Nintendo or FUNimation. Whichever will take her. For once, she feels that she may stick with her ambitions, because she's been surrounded with Japanese culture for a lot of her life, and hasn't grown sick of it yet. Why would she? All things Japan are her passion, and have been for a long time, so it's unlikely that this is just another phase.
She was never all that big on social interaction or depending on others, but recently she's started to befriend and trust a large number of people, most of which are involved with this blog. They're all very multi-cultural people, which has encouraged her to broaden her horizons a little and stop focusing so much on Japan. Italian is the next language she'd like to add to her arsenal, with German following behind that. She's planning on living in Italy at least once, though she may follow Tenuto Tuo to Belgium at some point and will probably join Phantomess and Clearly Unfocused in Spain for La Tomatina. ¡OlĂ©!
You can follow her personal blog Thoughts of a Vacant Mind here, though much of what she writes is total drivel. The kind you'd expect from a teenager, really. \(^_^)/
